Accused MP Rath to address Czech Chamber of Deputies

The state attorney's office is not against permitting David Rath, former lawmaker and regional governor, charged with corruption, to appear at the beginning of its session on June 5, state attorney Lenka Bradacova said on Friday. The regional state attorney's office is ready to permit a police escort for Rath, Bradacova said. Rath is now in the custody prison in Litomerice, north Bohemia. Police caught Rath red-handed with seven-million crowns of suspected bribes.
