Polish society is currently strongly divided into those who support and those who oppose refugee assistance, with the latter seemingly being the majority. While the topic has stayed in the newspaper headlines, the government has been resistant to adapt to new realities, or search for an EU-wide solution to the problem. The summer school participants (4 choirs) will practise their parts separately twice a day with three teachers, the conductor and pianist. On the last day they will rehearse together with soloist and orchestra. The score of the Grand Mass will be sent out to the choirs in May, so they have time to prepare for their joint work together.
