Zeman warns against talks with Taliban behind Afghan govt's back

Taliban will turn Afghanistan into a terrorist base if it is controlling the country, Czech President Milos Zeman said at a celebration of 20 years from Czech, Hungarian, Polish and Slovak NATO accession today, warning against talks with Taliban behind the Afghan government's back. If Taliban controls Afghanistan, it will prepare attacks against the Euro-Atlantic civilisation from there, he said.
