Zeman sworn in for second term as Czech president
March 8th, 2018
Czech President Milos Zeman officially started his second term in office by taking the presidential oath at a ceremonial meeting attended by members of parliament, cabinet members and regional governors at Prague Castle on Thursday. Zeman, 73, won re-election in the direct ballot held in January. He defeated academic Jiri Drahos in the runoff election. His second and last term will last until 2023.
