Zeman sends condolences on Hiroshima nuclear bombing anniversary

Czech President Milos Zeman has sent a letter of condolences to Hiroshima Mayor Kazumi Matsui on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the nuclear bombing of the Japanese town, which the Presidential Office released on its website on Thursday. In his letter, Zeman, also on behalf of the people of the Czech Republic, expressed deep regret at the death of thousands of innocent people in Hiroshima as well as hope that nuclear weapons would not kill any more people in the future.
