For the 2019 summer season, low-cost carrier Wizz Air will launch two new routes from Katowice airport, southern Poland, to Santander in Spain and Alesund in Norway, the airline said on Thursday. Wizz Air is the largest carrier operating from Katowice Airport, with eight planes in its fleet. This year, the company announced 42 routes to 19 countries for the summer season. In 2019, the company plans to launch two flights a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, to Santander from June 15. The connections to Alesund in western Norway will launch on September 16, with flights on Mondays and Fridays.
