Vietnamese, Chinese often commit tax crime in Czech Republic - report

July 25th, 2019

The Vietnamese and Chinese committed tax crime at a large scale in the Czech Republic last year, while lawyers and tax advisers were often involved in it as masterminds, the National Centre for Combatting Organised Crime (NCOZ) says in its annual report released today. The cyber crime rose in the Czech Republic again last year, the NCOZ also said. In 2018, the police centre also registered a rise in the number of tax crime perpetrators from Slovakia, who mainly commit tax evasion connected with agency employment.
