The countries of the Visegrad Four (the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland) must jointly fight for being seen as full-fledged EU members, their parliaments' heads agreed at their meeting in Prague on Monday. Given their historic experience with communism, they are sensitive to being forced to accept various ideologies, they said. The chairman of the Czech Senate, Jaroslav Kubera, criticised nationalism, political primitivism and social progressivism among present-day ideologies, which curb freedom, enforcing the "only correct view" and undermining the civilisation traditions lasting for centuries.
