Unemployment in Poland to remain stable for a while - minister

The rate of unemployment will remain at a similar level in the coming months and should close the year with a 5.5 percent reading, Labour Minister Bozena Borys-Szopa told PAP as she commented on the latest unemployment statistics. The Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Tuesday that the rate of unemployment went down to 5.3 percent in June from 5.4 percent in May, confirming earlier estimates.
