Two trains collide in Brno, 22 passengers injured

Twenty-two people were injured in a collision of two trains at the Main Station in Brno this morning and the material damage was estimated at 450,000 crowns, Rail Authority spokesman Martin Drapal said today. A total of 250 passengers had to be evacuated from the trains, police spokeswoman Petra Hruzova told CTK today. The injuries are probably not serious, but only minor or moderate, emergency service spokeswoman Michaela Bothova said. Thirteen people were transported from the railway station to hospital.
