The car plant of Trnava-based Groupe PSA Slovakia was evacuated early on Monday morning after a bomb alert, company spokesman Peter Svec has told TASR. Around 1,000 employees had to leave the premises at 4.42am. "The claim that explosives were present in the car factory was made on emergency telephone line 112 at around 4.30am. The police ordered the immediate evacuation of the employees. In cooperation with the security services, a thorough inspection of the plant premises is currently under way," Svec said.
