The main trial of MP and far-right People's Party Our Slovakia (LSNS) leader Marian Kotleba over controversial cheques is continuing at the Specialised Criminal Court in Pezinok (Bratislava region) on Monday. Kotleba appeared at the trial accompanied by his lawyers, Ondrej Mularcik and Tomas Rosina. The court cancelled the previous date of the main trial, which was supposed to take place on September 8, because the defendant excused himself by being in quarantine in connection with coronavirus-related measures. Kotleba was in mandatory quarantine after he returned from Montenegro, which has been listed among high-risk countries.
