March 5th, 2019
At least 748 towns, their districts, villages and regions as well as dozens of schools will fly the Tibetan flag on March 10 in remembrance of the 1959 anti-China uprising in Tibet in which at more than 80,000 Tibetans were killed, the Lungta group, organising the event, told CTK today. The Voice for Tibet event will take place outside the Chinese embassy in Prague on Sunday, March 10, to mark the 60th anniversary of the uprising, organised by Lungta with the Amnesty International and the Czechs Support Tibet group.
