European Commission spokesperson Margaritis Schinas announced on Thursday that "a three month period given to Poland in December to meet all EC's recommendations connected with the launching of the Article 7 procedure against Poland was till binding. Earlier on Thursday, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki handed over "the white paper" on Polish judicial reforms to European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker in Brussels. Schinas acknowledged that the Polish PM had handed over "the white paper" to Juncker and declared that the EC would get acquainted with its contents. According to the Polish PM's Office, the document includes "examples of similar solutions from other EU countries as well as rulings from international courts." It also stressed that "Poland was continuing its dialogue with the European Commission."
