This July with 18.8 degrees centigrade was the tenth hottest since 1961 when national average temperatures started to be measured in the Czech Republic, the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute told journalists today. The highest July temperature, 21.3 degrees, was recorded in 2006, the CHMU experts said. European scientists from the Copernicus programme said this July was the hottest month in the history of measurements on Earth.
