Szijjarto praises V4's handling of epidemic

The Visegrad Group "have done particularly" well in international comparison in responding to the novel coronavirus pandemic, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said after talks with his Polish counterpart. Szijjarto said he and Jacek Czaputowicz had expressed their solidarity with each other's countries over the coronavirus crisis and agreed on the need to further boost bilateral cooperation. He said they were in agreement that national responses to the virus were the most effective and that "our European friends" were applying "double standards" when it came to disagreements about the state of the rule of law in Hungary and Poland.
