March 20th, 2020
Public support for Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki's government increased by 1 percentage point (pp) to 42 percent in March, while negative opinions stood at 27 percent, down by 1 pp month on month, according to a poll by CBOS released on Friday. The percentage of indifferent opinions regarding the Polish government amounted to 28 percent, the poll said. The authors of the study said that the March poll should be viewed with considerable caution, because it began after the Health Ministry had informed about the first case of coronavirus infection in Poland, but before the introduction of emergency counter-measures in the country.
