Support for Polish PM's government up in September - poll

September 20th, 2018

Public support for Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki's cabinet rose by 1 percentage point month on month to 41 percent in September, the CBOS pollster reported on Thursday. The percentage of negative opinions about the Polish government amounted to 22 percent (down by 1 percentage point from the previous month), while the proportion of indifferent views stood at 32 percent (unchanged). According to CBOS, the assessment of the government's economic policy has slightly changed. Fifty-one percent of Poles believe that the current government's policy creates a chance for improvement of the economic situation (up by 1 percentage point), whereas 34 percent are of the opposite opinion (down by 1 percentage point), the report said. CBOS ran the survey on a sample of 1,064 adult respondents on Sept.
