SNS, ministry want more Slovak food on shelves

The Slovak National Party (SNS) is cooperating with the Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry to ensure that high-quality local food is on the shelves in stores all over Slovakia, TASR learnt from SNS chairman Andrej Danko's office director Zuzana Skopcova on Thursday. Consumers have recently witnessed an increase in the share of Slovak products on the shelves of foreign retail chains. The reason behind the increased demand for local products is their freshness and tougher regulation, said Skopcova.
