Slovakia will send 60 police officers to Macedonia and 40 officers to Serbia this year, with more than 100 police officers already serving in missions of the European Union's border agency Frontex, Interior Minister Denisa Sakova said at a conference on security and migration held in Vienna on Thursday. "The Slovak Republic welcomes the initiative to bolster cooperation with countries of the Western Balkans. The security and stability of this region has a direct impact on the security of the EU," said Sakova. Over the past year, 45 Slovak police officers served in Serbia and 110 officers in Macedonia.
