Slovakia registers 17 new Covid-19 deaths

Slovakia has registered another 17 deaths from Covid-19, which brings the death toll in the country to 115, Health Ministry spokeswoman Zuzana Eliasova said late on Wednesday. The victims were seven men and ten women, with their ages ranging from 47 to 89. Currently 844 patients are being treated in hospital for Covid-19, with 680 having tested positive for the disease. Altogether 18 people are in intensive care, 58 of them on ventilators.
