Slovakia GDP up 3.6 pc in Q1

Slovakia's gross domestic product in fixed prices rose year-on-year by 3.6 percent in the first quarter of 2018, according to a preliminary GDP growth estimate published by the Statistics Office on Tuesday. When seasonal effects were taken into account, GDP was up by 3.6 percent y-o-y, and by 0.9 percent quarter-on-quarter. In current prices, GDP in January-March amounted to 20.463 billion euros, up by 5.8 percent y-o-y.
