Slovakia becomes part of European St. James Way Christian pilgrimage

On Thursday, Slovakia for the first time will form part of the European Way of Saint James Christian pilgrimage, whose final destination is Santiago de Compostela in Spain, the Spanish ambassador to Slovakia Luis Belzuz de los Rios told TASR on Wednesday. A mass will be held by auxiliary bishop Jozef Halko at St. Martin's Cathedral in Bratislava at 5pm to commemorate the end of the pilgrimage's Slovak section, which spans 603 km, starting in the eastern city of Kosice and ending in the capital.
