Slovak supreme court calls for disciplinary action against Harabin

November 19th, 2018

Supreme Court Chair Daniela Svecova has filed a motion to start disciplinary action against Supreme Court judge Stefan Harabin, with Svecova proposing to transfer Harabin to a lower court and reduce his salary by 70 percent, TASR was told by court spokesperson Alexandra Vazanova on Monday. According to Svecova, the reason behind this move is Harabin's conduct in the criminal case of Robert L. and Co, which she suggested had "clearly led to the thwarting of a public session on a particularly serious criminal offence."
