Slovak shopping routines hardly influenced by ads

Slightly less than one fifth of Slovaks have said that they buy something based on advertising, TASR learnt from a survey carried out by company Home Credit. The survey showed that only 2 percent of the respondents are often influenced by advertisements when shopping. A total of 14 percent buy something on the basis of advertising from time to time. "More than half of the respondents said they don't buy anything based on advertising, but if an advertisement is good, it improves their perception of the company and its products. Another one fifth of people aren't influenced by advertisements at all. One in ten Slovaks even ignores advertisements completely," Jaroslav Ondrusek of Home Credit told TASR.
