Slovak people gearing up to hit streets in protests on March 9

Public gatherings under the slogan 'For a Decent Slovakia' will be held in dozens of Slovak urban centres as well as in foreign cities on March 9, with the majority of universities and colleges granting students the day off so that they can attend, TASR learnt on Thursday. The event organisers demand a comprehensive and independent investigation into the murders of investigative journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancee with the participation of international investigators and a new, trustworthy government, which wouldn't have in its ranks individuals suspected of corruption and ties with organised crime.
