Parliament has elected additional candidates for constitutional judges, who will be recommended to President Andrej Kiska so that he can select new judges from among them. The newly elected judges are Milos Madar and Pavol Malich. As parliament did not elect the complete number of candidates (18), another vote will be held. President Kiska will now be given eight names, which means that the original agreement of the coalition has been fulfilled. In addition to Madar and Malich, the head of state will also be offered Ivan Fiacan, Peter Molnar, Rastislav Kassak, Lubos Szigeti, Daniela Svecova and Michal Truban. The first six judges were elected on Wednesday.
