The Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry welcomes the summit that was held between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore, TASR learnt from ministry spokesperson Peter Susko on Tuesday. "The results of the summit and the signing of a joint document provide hope that the process that has been launched will gradually lead to the complete, irreversible and verifiable denuclearization of North Korea," stated Susko, adding that Slovakia has long supported a diplomatic and peaceful solution to the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
