More than 300 Slovak journalists and publishers have signed a resolution that reflects on the six months that have passed since the murders of journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancee, urging the public not to forget and calling attention to the need for investigative journalism, the websites of Aktuality, Dennik N and SME dailies reported on Friday. "We still don't know who killed them and why. We still harbour doubts as to whether the investigation is really independent. As fundamental changes haven't been made to the police or Prosecutor's Office in the wake of the murders, trust in a genuine investigation can hardly be inspired," signatories said in the open letter.
