Employers' associations approached by TASR on Tuesday welcomed some of the most recent measures planned by the government to improve the business environment, including those relating to Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini's so-called 'tax super-allowance' for science and research. Pellegrini announced in late February that the existing super-allowance will be increased from the current 100 percent of expenditures on science and research to 150 percent in 2019 and as much as 200 percent in 2020. "I view this as the best systemic and fairest motivational tool for developing our companies and our economy as a whole and ensuring that they are competitive," said Stefan Bohacek, a member of the Association of Employers Unions (AZZZ).
