Slovak consumer prices up 2.6 pc

May consumer prices in Slovakia have remained unchanged from April, the Slovak Statistics Office announced on Thursday. Year-on-year, however, consumer prices have increased by 2.6 percent. In comparison to May 2017, the most significant price increases have been noted in the following areas: in transport - by 5.5 percent, in food products and non-alcoholic beverages - 4.5 percent, and in restaurants and hotels - 3.5 percent. Prices have remained unchanged in two categories: postal services and communications.
