Slovak cabinet assigns 30 troops to assist counter-terrorism police during holidays

In response to the "current global security situation", the Slovak government on Wednesday approved the assignment of 30 soldiers in Slovakia each day between December 23 and January 1 to help the police "fight terrorism and organised crime". Over half (16) of the soldiers for each day have been assigned to assist the Bratislava Regional Police directorate, while the remaining 14 will be deployed elsewhere in Slovakia.
