Slovak cabinet: Presidential election set to cost over EUR 12.7m

Slovakia's upcoming presidential election is expected to cost more than 12.7 million euros, with just under 11.267 million euros coming from the Interior Ministry's budget and just under 1.495 million from the budget of the Statistics Office, according to a draft schedule approved by the cabinet at its regular session on Wednesday. "This amount of money includes expenditures related to the second round of Slovakia's presidential election if the president is not elected in the first round," reads the Interior Ministry's draft.
