The Senate, the upper house of Czech parliament, approved a bill allowing the lower house to raise the number of members in controlling committees, to allow for all parties to have seats. The bill applies to six committees: those supervising the work of the Security Information Service (BIS), the Military Intelligence Service (VZ), the Office for Foreign Relations and Information (UZSI), the Financial Analytical Office, the National Security Office (NBU) and the Office of Cyber and Information Security. President Milos Zeman is yet to sign the bill into law.
