Hungarians can only be loyal to the legacy of St. Stephen "if everyone does their part in helping to build the country and the nation wherever they may be", the deputy prime minister said at an awards ceremony for ethnic Hungarians abroad held in Parliament on the occasion of Hungary's St. Stephen's day national holiday, on Monday. Ethnic Hungarians have "never received as much support from Hungary as they have from the current government", Zsolt Semjen said. The government is giving Hungarians beyond the border everything they need to preserve their identity, "so that everyone can be a member of St. Stephen's state regardless of where they may live in the world", he added.
