Sejm for ratification of tax agreement with Andorra

The Sejm on Friday passed a law on the ratification of an agreement on exchange of information on tax matters with Andorra. The agreement, signed last June, in practice means that Andorra will no longer be a "tax heaven" for Poles. It has been based on the OECD model agreement on exchange of information on tax matters. Poland is the 20th country to have signed such document with Andorra. Under the agreement Poland will be granted access to bank accounts in Andorra in case of tax investigations.
