EU should take a more strategic approach to its enlargement and muster enough courage to make political decisions set to influence not only the future of the Western Balkans region but also the EU's global standing, Foreign and European Affairs Ministry state secretary Frantisek Ruzicka said during his working visit to Berlin on Tuesday, TASR learnt from the ministry press department on the same day. Ruzicka met in Berlin with Uwe Corsepius, the foreign policy advisor to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, to discuss the drafting of the EU's Strategic Agenda, EU budget and the opening of accession talks with North Macedonia and Albania.
