Ruling party presents bill to lower MPs' wages

April 13th, 2018

Poland's ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party presented a bill to parliament on Friday lowering MPs' pay by 20 percent. The Sejm (lower house) will debate the bill at its next sitting, the head of the PiS parliamentary club, Deputy Sejm Speaker Ryszard Terlecki, announced on Friday. Asked about the bill's details, he said: "It cuts pay by 20 percent."
