Poland's ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party would gain 42 percent of votes in the elections to the European Parliament, according to the latest survey by pollster CBOS. The European Coalition, which encompasses opposition parties Civic Platform (PO), the Polish People's Party (PSL), the Nowoczesna party, the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) and the Greens could count on 26 percent of votes, according to the poll. The survey showed that Kukiz'15 is supported by 5 percent and the newly-formed Wiosna (Spring) party by 4 percent while KORWIN, Liroy, Braun, Nationalists by 3 percent of potential voters in EP elections. The preferences are those of the respondents declaring a willingness to cast their vote in the European elections, CBOS noted. In all, 58 percent of Poles declared in CBOS's March survey that they would take part in the forthcoming elections to the European Parliament (EP) in May, which is a 6 percent increase compared to February poll results.
