Risk assessment index 70 in Czech Republic, measures may start to be relaxed

November 16th, 2020

The risk assessment index of the anti-epidemiological system (PES) in the Czech Republic stands at 70 now, which corresponds to the fourth level of anti-Covid measures, while the fifth is valid now, according to data released by the Health Ministry on Monday. If the value remains under 75 on the scale from 0 to 100 by Wednesday, the measures may be relaxed. The softer regime might be valid as of next Monday. The fourth level would mean, for instance, the opening of elementary schools to all students from the first five grades, and alternative distance and regular teaching of older students from the fifth to ninth grades as well as shifting the start time of the curfew to 11.00pm from 9.00pm, which is in place right now.
