Rise in Czech Republic Covid cases slowing

The Czech Republic confirmed 3,572 Covid-19 cases on Monday, about 800 less than a week ago, and the number of new cases as well as the numbers of newly reported coronavirus deaths and of the patients treated in hospital keep decreasing, according to data released by the Health Ministry. The Monday rise has been the lowest number of cases confirmed on a weekday since October 5. The index of the PES epidemic system has been at 57 points since November 23, which corresponds with the third out of the five risk degrees.
