Better communication between the government and citizens is the best route to effective measures and reducing the spread of the novel coronavirus, Vice-premier and For the People party leader Veronika Remisova has said on social media. Remisova said she believed the ruling coalition should ease tensions in society and persuade people that the pandemic is the problem of all countries in Europe. "In the current tense situation, personal disputes and invectives in media have no place on either side," she said. They only needlessly divert attention from essential things, such as the protection of vulnerable people, health care, the economy and jobs, Remisova said, calling for "less tension and ego and more constructive ideas and discussions".
