The Czech Republic's Association of Regions called on the government's representatives to renew the work of the Central Crisis Staff (UKS) on Thursday, association deputy chairman Jiri Behounek told CTK after their videoconference meeting. Ten regional governors voted for the proposal, while three abstained from the vote, Behounek said. The opposition parties as well as the junior government Social Democrats are calling for the reactivation of the crisis management. However, PM and ANO chairman Andrej Babis opposes it, saying the activity of the Government Council for Health Risks is sufficient.
