Raytheon, the US manufacturer of the Patriot missile defence system, said on Wednesday it is ready to negotiate the terms of an offset agreement tied to the purchase of the Patriot batteries by Poland. In 2018, the Polish government sealed the purchase of two Patriot batteries under a USD 4.75 billion contract, each battery operating four firing units. The purchase of further Patriot batteries will be possible under the contract's second phase.
