Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Wednesday that within the next four to 6 weeks, new purchases will be made for the Polish army as the armed forces continue to be modernised. The Polish head of state made the declaration to reporters ahead of the latest NATO summit, which was scheduled to begin later on Wednesday and last two days. Duda gave his assurances that "new purchases" for Poland's armed forces will be made in a month or month and a half.
