At the invitation of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Slovak head of state Zuzana Caputova will attend the celebrations of 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall on Saturday, November 9, TASR learnt from president's spokesperson Martin Strizinec on Friday. "All heads of the V4 [Visegrad Four] countries [the Czech republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia] will participate in the event. At the Berlin Wall Memorial, together with German Chancellor Angela Merkel they will put roses into the wall as a symbol of its fall and a commemoration of its victims, and will listen to four V4 students about their own vision of Europe," said the spokesman, adding that the presidents will also mark the contribution of the V4 countries to the fall of communism at the nearby V4 memorial.
