President appoints Zaoralek new Czech culture minister
August 27th, 2019
President Milos Zeman appointed Lubomir Zaoralek, who was foreign minister in the previous election term, as new Czech culture minister at Prague Castle today. The long dispute over the replacement of the culture minister, which began in May and due to which the CSSD threatened to leave the minority government of Andrej Babis, has ended with Zaoralek's appointment.
