Czech Environment Minister Richard Brabec welcomed Thursday's verdict by the EU Court of Justice rejecting the European Commission's lawsuit against the Czech Republic in its dispute about waste from Poland. The EC sued Prague for not having taken back 20,000 tonnes of a mixture that Poles labelled as hazardous waste, but Prague claimed that it was a fuel mixture made using sediments from the liquidation of the oil lagoons.
