Prague supports Pedersen's effort to reopen Syrian peace talks

Prague supports the effort by Geir Pedersen, the UN commissioner for Syria, at reopening the talks about a peaceful solution to the situation in the country, the Czech Foreign Ministry tweeted today, adding that political negotiations are the only way to secure permanent peace. "It is still true that the bloody conflict in Syria must be solved through political negotiations. This is the only way to achieve permanent peace," the ministry wrote.
