Prague names promenade after murdered Polish mayor Adamowicz

The Prague City Hall announced that a promenade walk in the Riegrovy sady park will bear the name of former Gdansk mayor Pawel Adamowicz who was murdered during a charity concert in early January, the Prague City Council decided today. The place was chosen in cooperation with the Polish ambassador and Polish Foreign Ministry. Prague Mayor Zdenek Hrib (Pirates) proposed to name the promenade with a very nice view of the city centre and the Polska (Polish) and Chopinova (Chopin's) street in the neighbourhood after Adamowicz.
